Secondary school classes can visit the Wonderkamers from Monday to Friday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Please note that your visit will last two hours. 


The Wonderkamers are a perfect destination for school parties.

Advance booking: mandatory for groups of 8+ students.
Minimum 8- maximum 60 students
Supervision: 1 school teacher per group of 8 – 16 students.

Individual students are also welcome. No need to book for groups of 7 or less.

•    Food & Drink
Eating and drinking is not permitted in the Wonderkamers.

•    Cloakroom
The museum has a guarded cloakroom. Large bags and all rucksacks must be handed in at the cloakroom or placed in one of the lockers in the entrance hall.

•    Photography
You are welcome to take photographs in the Wonderkamers, but only without flash and/or tripod. Proud of your pics? Share them via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, or join our own Flickr group.

•    Disabled access
Both the Gemeentemuseum and the Wonderkamers provide easy access for people with restricted mobility.

•    Languages
The Wonderkamers are completely bilingual. All the information on the tablet, in the films and around the exhibition spaces is available in both Dutch and English.
